The Bosque County Patrol Division is responsible for 24 hour 7 days a
week coverage for the citizens of Bosque County.
This 24 hour coverage began December 2005 and has helped reduce
response time and provide a heightened level of security which Bosque County
citizens have never experienced.
The Patrol Division implemented the Bosque County business card program
in December 2005. This program notifies the citizens that their area
was patrolled and reinforces the "Not always seen, but always
there" philosophy of the Patrol Division.
In 2005, the Patrol Division issued over 1,200 citations and over 800
written warnings. This enforcement action covered violations ranging
from traffic, public intoxication, criminal mischief, and violation of the
burn ban.
The Bosque County Sheriff's Office has recently implemented District
Patrols. This plan has been implemented to reduce the response time
and cost of operating a patrol vehicle, without decreasing patrols.
The responding deputies also live in their assigned Disctrict.
