Patrol Division

The Patrol Division is responsible for:

  • Immediate response to emergencies and criminal investigations.

  • Apprehension of criminals.

  • Routine Patrol of all rural and unincorporated cities.

Detention Division

The Detention Division is responsible for:

  • The Care and Custody of all persons arrested for a Misdemeanor or Felony offense.

  • The Care and Custody of all persons convicted of a Felony offense pending release to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division

Environmental Crimes

The Environmental Crimes  Division is responsible for:

  • The investigation of offenses which are in  violation of the Bosque County Code and the Texas Health and Safety Laws.

Administration Division

The Administration Division is responsible for:
  • The proper filing of all reports.

  • The Registration of Sex Offenders in Bosque County.

  • The release of information requested through the Public Information Act.

Criminal Investigations

The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for:.

  • The in-depth investigations of some misdemeanor and felony offenses.

  • To assist other agencies within Bosque County or in the State of Texas.

  • The presentation of all Felony cases presented to the Grand Jury.

Communication Division

The Communication Division is responsible for:

  • 24 hour/ 7 day a week communication services.

  • Answering all 911 calls to obtain vital information for emergency personnel.

  • Paging various Fire Departments, Ambulances and other Emergency response teams.

  • Handling all requests by officers working in the field.
